The Client
This no-for-profit foundation provides drug and alcohol counselling and support services to young people under the age of 18. Like many youth and community services organisations, its ability to keep delivering those services depends heavily on securing government grant funding.
The Challenge
Ted Noffs had no dedicated data analytics platform and was relying on spreadsheets to track and analyse its data. That made it slow and labour-intensive to pull together the data and reporting needed to support grant applications – funding that is the organisation’s core lifeline for continuing to deliver frontline services to young people.
The Solution
codeSource designed and built a data analytics platform on Microsoft Azure Data Factory, backed by a blob-based data warehouse, to replace the manual, spreadsheet-based process. The platform gives the foundation a single, effective home for its data and a much faster path from raw data to usable analysis.
The engagement combined data engineering and analytics to replace a manual reporting process with a more scalable data foundation. By moving the workflow away from spreadsheets and into a dedicated analytics platform, the foundation gained a clearer and faster path from source data to grant-ready evidence.
